SEASON ONE of THE INTERSECTION takes us to the corner of Golden Gate Avenue and Leavenworth Street in the Tenderloin. The neighborhood has by far the highest density of children, seniors and families in the city—as well as drug dealers.
Compared to the rest of San Francisco, the corner and the neighborhood seems unchanged. It’s been written off by many—and is still misunderstood by most. Until now, hopefully...
